an illustrator from the Dominican Republic who seeks to give more visibility to Black women,
women of African descent, and diverse women who take to the streets every day to fight
for a more just, inclusive, and respectful world. She is very interested in illustration as a tool
for real social change, within a society that systematically seeks to silence and continually
erase all those who do not conform to what has been imposed as the norm.
J O A N N E D E R T i L i , G R E E C E , 1 3 Jo is an illustrator and visual development artist from
Athens, Greece. She was diagnosed with ADHD at 26, which helped her understand why a
lot of things were harder for her growing up. She is passionate about raising awareness and
celebrating neurodiversity in women and girls, especially autism and ADHD, since they are
often overlooked.
L i LY N i E , A U S T R A L i A , 1 7 Melbourne-based illustrator Lily Nie grew up surrounded
by plants and curiosity, thanks to her plant biologist parents. Guided by her kinship
with nature, her work drifts between dream and reality, exploring themes of adventure,
belonging, and the quiet magic of the natural world.
